Professional Profile: Arjun Prasad Bhattarai is a TVET and enterprise development professional with over 20 years of experience in skills development, employment services, training, curriculum and manual development, and applied research. He has collaborated with government agencies, UN organizations, development partners, NGOs, and private-sector stakeholders to design and implement impactful skills and entrepreneurship initiatives.
An ILO-endorsed Master Trainer in Start and Improve Your Business (SIYB) and Formalize Your Business (FYB), Arjun brings extensive expertise in entrepreneurship training, capacity building, vocational training, apprenticeship/OJT, career counselling, skill needs assessment, curriculum development, and Training of Trainers (ToT) facilitation. He has contributed to CTEVT/NSTB-related skill certification processes and the development of competency-based training resources.
His professional work includes developing and validating curricula, manuals, toolkits, and learning materials in Nepali and English, as well as conducting skill assessments, feasibility studies, market analyses, business profiling, financial-service mapping, and project evaluations.
