Consultancy Services for Implementation of the Livelihood Restoration Plan (LRP) for Transmission Line Project Duration

Duration: December 2025 to May 2028

Project location: Kathmandu, Sindhupalchok, Nuwakot, Dhading, Makwanpur, Chitwan, Tanahun, Palpa, Nawalparasi East and Nawalparasi West.

Target Beneficiaries:Approximately 1,500 eligible Project Affected Persons.

Partner: Millennium Challenge Account Nepal (MCA-Nepal).

The objective of the Livelihood Restoration Program is to restore and enhance the livelihoods of eligible Project Affected Persons to at least 20% higher as compared to the pre-project status. The program supports livelihood recovery and income improvement through agriculture, livestock, forestry-based livelihood options, vocational skills, entrepreneurship development, financial literacy, life skills, market linkages and institutional support, while ensuring compliance with IFC Performance Standards and MCC/MCA-Nepal environmental and social safeguard requirements.
