Technical Assistance (TA) for the implementation of Basa Project

Narrative Description of the Project

The Nepal Foundation has been working with the predominantly Rai community of Rapcha for 5 years to increase the quality of life in 6 core areas for about 2000 people living there. One of these core areas is clean drinking water.

The community is providing all the labor for project construction. Basa is a farming community, work must take place November to March so as not to conflict with farming. For this reason, the implementation of the project is undertaken in six months beginning from November. Thus a schedule of three fiscal years (however only six months are the effective working period) is prepared for the construction of 13 projects in Basa.

SAPPROS act as the primary party and assume responsibility for all project implementation, reporting to the donor, and monitoring in the implementation of 4 projects for year 2016/17.
