It emphasizes on the development of self-help type community organizations/ groups. It has formed a total of 3,700 saving and credit groups including 1022 women groups. These groups generate and augment different resources that help in carrying out various income generating activities through saving and credit organizations. This is envisioned in order to assist their own members and to foster long-term community growth both in terms of food security and overall socio-economic status. As of date a total of 366,613 households have been covered under various projects covering 1,472,734 members. Similarly, a total of 1453 users groups were formed in order to manage and operate community infrastructures.
